Introduction

Fincher Labs LLC (Fincher Labs, we, or us) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard personal information when you use our website (fincher.dev) and any forms or tools on that domain (such as lead intake forms, quote request forms, or project intake forms built with our Zoho CRM integration). In plain English: we only use your information to serve you – we do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone. Any information you submit is used solely to respond to your inquiries or fulfill your requests. By using our site or services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Information We Collect

  • Contact Information: your name, email address, phone number, and company/organization (if provided).
  • Project Details and Preferences: information you choose to share about project requirements, goals, preferences, and timelines.
  • Files and Attachments: any assets you upload (images, documents) through our forms.
  • Technical Information: IP address, browser type, device type, and general location (e.g. country or region) collected by our service providers for operational purposes. We do not use this to identify you; it helps ensure the website works properly and to analyze performance.

We do not build extensive personal profiles or collect sensitive identifiers unless you voluntarily provide them. Our contact forms ask only for what we need. Personal data entered into forms is not permanently stored on public website servers; submissions go directly to secure internal systems (e.g. email or Zoho CRM).

How We Use Your Information

  • Providing and Improving Services: deliver requested services/information, prepare quotes, and improve offerings.
  • Communicating with You: respond to inquiries, send project updates, discuss proposals/contracts, and provide support. We do not send unsolicited marketing emails.
  • Contract Fulfillment: use necessary information to carry out our contract (e.g., build your website). If e‑signatures are needed, we may use your name and email in Zoho Sign.
  • Site Functionality and Analytics: review aggregated/anonymized usage data to improve the site; we do not profile individual visitors.

We do not use your personal information for any purposes other than delivering our services or responding to you. We never sell it to advertisers or other third parties.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

  • Essential and Functional Cookies: minimal cookies only if required for technical functioning (e.g., a future client portal). We do not currently use cookies to remember personal preferences.
  • Analytics: Cloudflare Web Analytics (privacy‑first, no identifying cookies). We also use Microsoft Clarity for understanding user experience (e.g., click/scroll behavior). Clarity data is anonymous; form fields and identifiers are masked or excluded. We use Clarity purely for UX analysis.
  • No Third‑Party Ads or Cross‑Site Tracking: no advertising networks, social media pixels, or other marketing trackers. No fingerprinting.
  • Anti‑Spam Protection: Cloudflare Turnstile helps verify human form submissions without tracking users or collecting unnecessary info.

How We Share Information (and Not Sharing)

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share only the minimum required data with trusted service providers to operate our services or fulfill obligations to you:

  • Zoho CRM: stores and organizes form submissions (contact details and project info) for lead tracking and communication.
  • Zoho Sign: facilitates e‑signatures on proposals/contracts using your name and email.
  • Stripe (Payments): if used, processes payments securely. We do not store full card data.
  • Cloudflare: hosting (Pages), security, Web Analytics, and Turnstile anti‑spam.
  • Microsoft Clarity: anonymous UX analytics; personal identifiers are not collected.

We may disclose information with your consent, to comply with law, or during a business transfer. Any processor we use is selected for strong privacy/security practices.

Data Security

  • Encryption: SSL/TLS secures data in transit; providers encrypt data in transit and at rest.
  • Access Controls: only authorized team members access personal data; strong credentials and 2FA where supported.
  • No On‑Server Storage: personal data is not stored on public website servers; form submissions go to secure email/CRM.
  • Monitoring and Updates: platform and dependencies are kept up to date; Cloudflare helps block malicious traffic.
  • Vendor Security: we choose reputable vendors with high security standards and certifications.
  • Data Retention and Minimization: we keep data only as long as needed (or required by law) and periodically delete or anonymize unneeded data.

No method is 100% secure, but we use commercially reasonable safeguards. If a breach occurs, we will notify you as required and take mitigation steps.

Your Rights and Choices

We extend core privacy rights to all users, even where not legally required:

  • Access and Awareness: request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Correction: ask us to correct inaccurate information.
  • Deletion: request deletion of your data (subject to legal obligations).
  • Opt‑Out of Communications: tell us to stop following up on a prior inquiry.
  • Consent Withdrawal: withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
  • Non‑Discrimination: you will not be treated differently for exercising these rights.

To exercise rights, contact us using the details below. We may verify your identity. We aim to respond within 30 days.

Future Features and Policy Updates

As we grow, we may add features like client portals. Any new data practices will follow these principles, and this policy will be updated accordingly. We will post an updated effective date and, when appropriate, a prominent notice of changes.
